The recordings at this website, like all work, are the result of collective effort - of countless beings, of countless becomings.... in particular one would like to mention the weekly sangat at Najm Hossain Syed's where the poetry sung here was composed, sung, read and discussed over the past nearly forty years. There is a rich source of this text available online at apnaorg.com and wichaar.com. In Lahore, Suchet Kitab Ghar continues to be a rich resource that has sustained Punjabi literature and publications in these times. For an exhaustive discussion on individual poets' works whose poetry is presented here is the pantheon on classical Punjabi poetry; the 'Within Reach' series of Muzaffar Ghaffar available from Ferozesons Publishers.
One also wants to mention that all the recordings put up here were recorded and mastered voluntarily by various individuals over the past few years. They put this together and made it possible to disseminate this work.
